A production from WhatsApp in collaboration with Disney + comes this documentary charting the rise, trials and tribulations of Arsenal’s young superstar footballer Bukayo Saka, he talks about his origins growing up in West London, Greenford ,coming through the Arsenal youth academy in Hale End, his parents influence, legacy, family, friends and team-mates. Bukayo Saka whose who was nicknamed by the fans as ‘Starboy’ as he is a youth product coming through to the first team as a teenager when the team was not very good and helping carry the team to become English Premier League Champions for the 1st time in 22 years with his home town football club. He meets with Arsenal and French legendary former footballer Thierry Henry who speaks to him about the pressure of succeeding at Arsenal and internationally for their respective national teams France and England they drive around London exploring the city going into their influences and they eventually go to the Arsenal’s Emirates Football Stadium and speak on the pressure and privilege of playing for one of the biggest football teams in the world and becoming legends for Arsenal Football Club that represents, class, culture and grace under the gaze of the global media.

Through voice notes from mum, messages from dad, and conversations with those closest to him, the film offers a rare look at the people who keep Bukayo grounded as he steps onto the world’s biggest stage.
“The Time is Now” premieres on Disney+ in select international markets from June 5 and in the United States later this month, along with the ESPN App. The film will also air on Fox in the United States on June 7 at 1:30pm ET, and available on FOX One.
The documentary premiered in New York City earlier this month, which was attended by Saka’s Fiancée Tolami Benson, teammate Eberechi Eze, and Arsenal fan and actor Paul Bettany with fans and press.
