The young actress and Texan native plays the brave, strong, fierce and resilient newly widowed, young mother, Ariana Medina, who’s always prepared to fight for her family and herself. It is fascinating to watch both Kayla and Paulina’s characters of Rebecca Falcone and Ariana Medina on paper be polar opposites but at closer look have far more in common than you would imagine, both are brave and bold in their own ways and are like ying and yang to each other in more ways than they currently realise, leading them to clash and confront each other.

Paulina was born in El Paso, Texas, USA, her parents are from Mexico. She got into acting and performing at a very young age, and was enrolled in acting classes at 7-years-old when she was attending elementary school in San Antonio by her mother. She already done a variety of roles such as Netflix’s Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love (2020) and Fate: The Winx Saga (2021), Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip among other projects in her relatively young career. She was cast in Taylor Sheridan and Paramount plus’s drama ‘Landman’ in 2024 as Ariana Medina the strong wiled, resilient and passionate young mother and widow who goes on a journey of self-discovery of love, family and life. This role has shown her talents on a worldwide platform with the show fast gaining a giant global following.

‘So what’s the plan? Live in the house my husband bought and raise his son, and all the sacrifice that goes with it, because why? You took one look at this mess, and I’m just supposed to believe that?’

―Ariana Medina
